Antimicrobial, Flexible, Reusable, Washable, N99 Filtration Standard #ACTIVEPROTECTION
NanoHack Maverick is a Facial Mask designed with the purpose of protecting against particles in the air and preventing the spread of aerosols that contaminate the respiratory tract.
NanoHack Maverick has been developed with a flexible, non-porous, biocompatible antimicrobial elastomer developed by Copper3D, allowing superior fit and tightness.
The filtration system used by the NANOHACK Maverick consists of a triple layer of variable density non-woven polypropylene material, similar to that used in surgical masks or N95.
These filters are also embedded in a copper-based antimicrobial additive, so these are not regular filters, these are antimicrobial (active) filters.
This filter system has been tested under the OSHA * protocol with a filtration result equivalent to N99.
*Protocol OSHA 29CFR1910.134, Test method: QNFT using TSI PortaCount

NanoHack Maverick by Copper3D Inc. is an antimicrobial elastomer injected face mask with a filtering standard equivalent to N99*.
If you are a Health professional and you are going to manipulate the airway, such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, fiberoptic bronchoscopy or similar procedures, we also suggest using a Face Shield or goggles as a complementary element to the NanoHack.
You can use it without any restriction in common spaces.
Active non-woven filters should be used for up to 24 hours and changed once a day. After handling the active filter, you should wash your hands and follow the instructions recommended by the health authority.
Please note that although Nanohack Maverick is a flexible mask, the tension of the elastics used to attach it to the face must be sufficient to hold it in place without causing injury to the face from continued use.

NanoHack Maverick uses an active (antimicrobial) filter system with different densities in three layers of Non Woven Polypropylene. This filter has been tested and validated according to the OSHA 29CFR1910.134 protocol, with the QNFT test method using the TSI PortaCount, giving as a result a protection level equivalent to a N99 standard.
The NanoHack mask comes with a 7-days filter kit, one for each day, which we recommend removing after continued use for about 24 hours.
In the case of not being able to access this type of filter, the study by Anna Davies et al 1 analyzes the filtration efficiency of different materials. See the attached table.

There is a possibility that condensation would appear inside the Maverick because the hermicity of it’s design. The Maverick Mask doesn’t use an exhalation valve due to respirators with exhalation valves protect the wearer from SARSCoV- 2, the virus that causes COVID-19, but may not prevent the virus spreading from the wearer to others (that is, they may not be effective for source control).
